Wayne County 911
At Horizon Consoles we had the pleasure of working with Wayne County 911, on the design and installation of their new PSAP control room (Public safety answering point).
Collaborative workspace
Wayne County needed a console large enough to support all their monitors and technology. It was essential for each user to have their own pod, but also to join collaborative meetings.
Horizon’s dual-plane and 90° Dispatch console was the perfect match, combining a spacious workspace with matching storage and ad-hoc meeting points.
Dual-plane 90-degree Dispatch Console
The intense role of a Police call handler requires a product with exceptional user comfort, and this was achieved with accessories such as personal heating and cooling and wrap-around acoustic panels.
Rack-mounted storage can be accessed from the front and rear of the console, this enables call handlers to keep working whilst maintenance is carried out. A critical feature for 24/7 control room environments.
LED-lit Glass screens
The Consoles are finished with LED-lit glass screens and for an individual touch, Wayne County opted to etch their logo into the glass.
Key features:
8 height adjustable consoles
90-degree dual-plane consoles – 24/7

Laminate worksurface
Independent monitor adjustment with safety stop
Enclosed cable management
Built-in safety mechanism
